Baobab & Cacao Fudge Bars

This no-bake, nutrient packed fudge bar recipe is one of our favorites! With 100% raw ingredients, healthy nut butter and a rich chocolatey flavor, you’ll want to eat the whole pan. This decadent treat is easy to make, satisfies your cravings, and packs a nutrient punch with the addition of Baobest’s Baobab Powder. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Healthy No-bake Baobab and Cacao Fudge Bars RecipeIngredients for base:

  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp almond flour or ground almonds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Ingredients for topping:

  • 1 tbsp Baobest Baobab Powder
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/2 avacado
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking tin with wax paper
  2. Place the almond butter, coconut oil and maple syrup in a pan and gently melt
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats, almond flour and cinnamon. Stir well to combine, then press evenly over the base of the tin. Place in freezer while making the topping
  4. For the topping, place all of the ingredients in a blender and whizz up until it’s smooth
  5. Pour over the base and spread evenly
  6. Sprinkle cacao nibs on top and freeze for at least 4 hours
  7. Remove from freezer, score into bite size slices and break the pieces apart
  8. Keeps best if stored in the freezer
