Gluten-Free Baobab and Gingerbread Protein Bars

Gluten-Free Baobab and Gingerbread Protein BarsIngredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup Baobest Baobab Superfruit Powder
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup coconut palm sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 tbsp unsulphured molasses
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate BaoBites
  • 1/4 cup chopped dates


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients, except for the coconut palm sugar
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg and add in the web ingredients as well as the coconut palm sugar
  4. Add in the wet ingredients to the dry and stir to combine
  5. Fold in the Pomegranate BaoBites, raisins and dates
  6. Brush olive or coconut oil on the sides of a square 8×8 pan
  7. Add piece of measured parchment paper on bottom of pan
  8. Pour batter into pan. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center
